Flocked Tape

Flocking Tape / Flocking Film is a high-performance tape product utilizing electrostatic flocking technology, providing optimized solutions for noise reduction and friction control in automotive applications such as door weatherstrips, door belt moldings, and glass run channels.

It effectively prevents sliding noise (squeaking sounds), vibrations, and scratches on glass surfaces during door glass movement, while enhancing waterproof and dustproof performance.
This innovative product replaces the conventional post-molding flocking process, maximizing production efficiency.

Compared to conventional flocked injection-molded products, Flocking Tape / Flocking Film ensures faster application and superior quality,
offering effective noise and vibration reduction solutions across various industries.

Base Material Thermo-bonding film applied, thickness 0.06–0.08mm (various films such as PP, PU, PVC, PET, etc. can be applied).
Pile PET (polyester fiber) 3DN / 0.55mm length, standard specification
Adhesive Water-based adhesive is used to enhance bonding strength with the pile and ensure environmental friendliness.
Applications Outer belt molding and inner belt molding for automotive door belt moldings
Flocking Tape / Flocking Film is mainly applied to glass contact surfaces
Key Advantages Increased line speed by eliminating post-processing, reducing labor and equipment investment
Minimization of coating materials, drying energy, and defect handling costs
Reduced emission of harmful solvents and dust, improving the work environment and protecting worker health
Pre-flocked in tape form, ensuring consistent quality during on-site application
Reduced waste and improved energy efficiency
Functions Noise and vibration reduction, glass protection, and waterproof/dustproof performance
